Of course you can also just watch something on your laptop, read or listen to a book or give yourself some thinking time. Art gallery De Kunsthal in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, has been very innovative, placing treadmills in the gallery, to give visitors more time to really look at the art. Why? The Kunsthal learned from the gym: usually one would look at a painting for 9 seconds and in the gym, we watch TV for 20 minutes while running on a treadmill.
